1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website ontario-lotto.org, registering for alerts, or purchasing a 50/50 community raffle ticket, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our official Rules & Regulations. If you do not accept these regulatory frameworks, you must immediately cease using the platform and refrain from acquiring tickets.
The platform is operated by Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia (the license holder) and managed for marketing and advertising purposes by Instituto de Marketing y Comunicación S.L (the advertiser).
2. Player Eligibility
Raffle tickets are strictly restricted by provincial legislation and gaming guidelines:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
- You must be physically located within the borders of the Province of Ontario, Canada when completing your checkout.
- You must provide valid, government-issued photo identification to verify your name, age, and address prior to any prize disbursement.
- Members of the board of directors and executive staff of Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia directly involved in overseeing the draw system are ineligible to buy tickets.
If we establish that a ticket was purchased in violation of these conditions, the transaction will be declared null and void, and any potential prize claims will be forfeited.
3. Ticket Purchases
All online transactions are final and non-refundable. Once a ticket purchase is completed and payment clears, entries cannot be modified, swapped, or cancelled. The only exception is in the highly unlikely event of a total draw cancellation, in which case all entry fees will be credited back to the original payment source within fourteen business days of the cancellation notice.
Payment transactions are processed securely through accredited external providers. Neither Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia nor Instituto de Marketing y Comunicación S.L stores, accesses, or processes your complete credit card information.
4. Pricing and Payouts
Ticket entry options are available in single purchases or discounted bundle packs. Prices are clearly displayed at checkout. Payouts are conducted strictly in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via electronic funds transfer (e-transfer) or cheque. Winners are responsible for validating the accuracy of their bank information and confirming receipt. In keeping with Canadian tax regulations, lottery and raffle winnings are generally not subject to federal income tax in Canada.
5. Intellectual Property
All original assets, design components, site templates, copy text, images, logos, graphics, and software scripts deployed on ontario-lotto.org are the exclusive property of Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia, Instituto de Marketing y Comunicación S.L, or their respective content partners. These assets are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You are prohibited from copying, distributing, mirroring, or repackaging any content on this site for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.
6. Prohibited Actions
As a condition of using this website, you agree that you will not:
- Acquire tickets or access data using automated engines, scraping bots, or script injectors.
- Attempt to circumvent location-checking systems or proxy controls to purchase tickets from outside the borders of Ontario.
- Introduce malicious code, Trojan horses, or DDoS packages to damage the technical runtime.
- Register duplicate accounts or submit false customer information during signup.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Canadian law, Bluewater Gymnastics Club Sarnia and Instituto de Marketing y Comunicación S.L shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, data corruption, or financial damages resulting from your use of this site. This includes technical processing dropouts, network lags, payment gateway declines, or late email notifications. In all circumstances, our cumulative financial liability shall not exceed the cost of the ticket entry purchased by the player.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
